Manager of Operations & Client Relations

Location: Calgary Alberta, or remote

We are looking for a Rockstar to join our growing company! This person is highly independent, a team player and loves their days to be filled with varied activities. As the Manager of Operations and Client relations, your primary responsibility will be ensuring our client projects run smoothly from start to finish. Your role will be client facing, so building trust and speaking with confidence and authenticity is a must. You will also support the company with back-end operations – from managing our social media account to proofing client edits and performing QA on websites, you will be exposed to it all! This role is setup to develop and support a team of collaborators, so wanting to manage people is an asset.

Managerial responsibilities
  • Client correspondence – emails, phone calls and Zoom
  • Client documentation generation – project briefs and external/internal schedules
  • Participation in client presentations and meetings
  • General client admin – coordinating reoccurring website payments, chasing/updating clients on progress etc.
  • General collaborator management – correspondence and scheduling
  • Project management – client content proofing, QA on websites in development
  • Managing Forum's website
  • Managing Forum's social media
Data Management & Analysis*
  • Creating analytics/performance/SEO reports quarterly with data-lead actionable adjustments
  • Google tools implementation on websites. Experience in Google business, analytics, tag manager and search console an asset
  • Data entry (website CMS content input, SEO content input etc.)

  • Someone who wants to have an impact every day and be a part of a growing and evolving organization
  • Highly independent, solution focused and detail oriented
  • 5+ years of marketing and brand experience is a huge asset
  • Strong work ethic
  • Comfortable in establishing and maintaining respectful boundaries and expectations with collaborators, management and clients
  • Strong communications skills including writing/proofing
  • Post-secondary education preferred but not necessary
  • Strong digital and analytical skills
Compensation & time commitment

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but it is competitive and will have built in performance bonuses. The role will have a three-month trial period to start, beginning at ~20-hours per week, and look to scale up with company growth.
